These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of www.mobilityisfreedom.com and related pages and forms (the "Site"), operated by the Mobility is Freedom Fund ("MiFF," "we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
The Site is provided for general informational purposes. You may view and use it for personal, non-commercial purposes. You must be able to form a binding agreement to use the Site.
2. Content and intellectual property
The content of the Site — text, graphics, data visualizations, photographs, logos, and design — is owned by MiFF or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, republish, sell, or create derivative works from it without our written permission, except as permitted by law.
3. Material you send us
If you contact us or submit material through a form on the Site, you confirm that the information is accurate and that you have the right to send it. Do not send confidential information belonging to someone else. We handle what you send in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
The Site provides information about our programs and a way to reach us. It is not an offer or a contract. The terms of any MiFF program, including the Mobility is Freedom-Scholar Award, are set out in that program's own published materials, and those materials govern.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Site unlawfully, upload malicious code, attempt to gain unauthorized access to it, impersonate others, or interfere with its operation or security.
5. Third-party links
The Site may link to websites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or practices, and your use of them is governed by their own terms.
6. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Information on the Site, including research findings and figures, is for general informational purposes only and is not medical, legal, or financial advice. Nothing on the Site is a substitute for professional medical care.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MiFF and its officers, directors, volunteers, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Site.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold MiFF harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
