The Mobility is Freedom Fund has named Hannah Young its 2026 Scholar.
Her funded project is "Facilitating Optimal Care Through Understanding Self-Efficacy After Lower-Limb Amputation" — FOCUS-ALL. Self-efficacy is a person's confidence in their own ability to manage what their care asks of them.
The Mobility is Freedom-Scholar Award supports doctoral students in rehabilitation science whose work advances integrated, multidisciplinary care for people living with limb loss. Young follows Cynthia Chude, named in 2025.
A fuller account of her research will follow.
